The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion
Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion is a huge game with so many different possibilities. It’s really a game that you could play for 100 hours if you wanted to. There are just so many different character classes and quests that seeing it all will take you long time. The main story arc of the game is that gates to Oblivion realm (hell) have opened and all kinds of vicious creatures are pouring out of them. So you’re tasked with finding these gates, going into them, and finding a way to destroy them.
Oblivion is a role playing game so you can customize every facet of you character. Stats are based off how much you use a certain attribute. So if you want to be a master archer then use a bow in combat. With so many different options for what you want your character to be you could create two characters each with totally different skills and have two different experiences playing the game.
The world of Cyrodiil is quite engrossing as well. When you travel in-between cities you could be greeted by other travelers or attacked by blood thirsty bandits. Graphically the game looks great with large open areas and detailed cities. The music is very good, setting the mode for whatever situation you’re in. Voice acting is also quite good even though you will begin to here the same voice actor doing different characters. Constant loading does hamper the experience a bit but it shouldn’t stop anyone from enjoying the game.
